幼少期、ジャマイカ各地を転々とする厳しい暮らしを余儀なくされる中で、どんな理不尽な状況に置かれても、小さな彼は歌い続けた。 As a child, forced to move from place to place across Jamaica through hardship, no matter how unjust the circumstances, the boy kept singing.
高校時代、彼は自らグループを結成し、その後結成したKonsciousは、アサファ・パウエルのマネジメントと、スティーブン・マクレガーによる楽曲プロデュースを受けた。 In high school, he formed his own group. The group he later formed, Konscious, was managed by Asafa Powell, with production work from Stephen McGregor.
後にソロとして活動を始めたIneziは、BBC 1Xtra(Seani B)によるキングストンでの野外ショーケースに出演し、グラミー・ノミネート歴を持つプロデューサー、Teflon Zincfenceが手掛けた「Roots and Culture」「No Love」で存在感を示していく。 Later going solo, Inezi performed at a BBC 1Xtra (Seani B) outdoor showcase in Kingston, building presence with "Roots and Culture" and "No Love," produced by Grammy-nominated producer Teflon Zincfence.
2020〜2021年には、スイス拠点のAddis Recordsと制作した「African Proverbs」がBBC 1XtraのDavid Rodiganの目に留まり、Spotifyで19万回超の再生を記録。2022年、Global Beat Studiosから初のEP「Pain and Pleasure」をリリースし、Rodiganはこの作品を「first class」と評した。 Between 2020–2021, "African Proverbs," made with Switzerland's Addis Records, caught the ear of BBC 1Xtra's David Rodigan and surpassed 190,000 streams on Spotify. In 2022, he released his debut EP, Pain and Pleasure, through Global Beat Studios — a release Rodigan called "first class."
